Perth 4WD tracks you need to try
One of the greatest things to do in Perth is 4 wheel driving and we are not short of tracks. Here are just a few of the Perth 4WD tracks you need to try.
MUNDARING POWERLINE TRACK
The track is mainly clay and rock which is rutted, steep and can be very dangerous when wet.The track starts near Sawyers Tavern in Sawyer Valley. It's an actual power line track managed by Western Power but it is open to the 4WD community.
If you have never been off road before, DON'T attempt this track.
HARVEY DAM
There are plenty of tracks which will test the more experienced 4 wheel drivers and the terrain constantly changes.
BRUNSWICK 4X4 CHALLENGE TRACK
A good, action-packed track with plenty of tricky sections which will require clever wheel placement, track building and grit. Three river/creek crossings, two massive hills and plenty of tricky short but very steep hill climbs.
WELLINGTON NATIONAL PARK, COLLIE
The Lennard track is a 4WD only track and is day use only. After you exit Lennard track, you will find more tracks that are challenging in the area. One of them is a fire break track not far from the end of the Lennard track and parts of this fire break track are very fun and challenging.
