One of the best things about WA is our beautiful scenery. Whether you’re heading up north, or down south, you will be spoilt with incredible views and peaceful surrounds of our National Parks. The best thing? You can camp there. Check out our list for must see National Park camping spots here.

CAPE RANGE NATIONAL PARK – EXMOUTH Cape Range National Park has many camping grounds to choose from alongside the stunning Ningaloo Marine Park and once you’re done setting up, you can enjoy the many activities it has to offer including fishing, bushwalking, snorkelling and surfing to name a few.

KARIJINI NATIONAL PARK – KARIJINI Karijini is in the Pilbara region of WA and covers 627,422 hectares. Dales Campground is the most popular camping area and is close to Fortescue Falls and Fern Pool as well as walking trails, a picnic area, barbecues and toilets.

D’ENTRECASTEAUX NATIONAL PARK – WINDY HARBOUR Home to giant rock columns formed by volcanic lava millions of years ago, D’Entrecasteaux National Park has picturesque white beaches, rugged cliffs and soaring Karri forests and the largest freshwater lake in southern WA. Their campground has all the amenities you could need so all you need to bring is a camera.

WINDJANA GORGE NATIONAL PARK – DERBY Windjana is home to wildlife including waterbirds, white cockatoos, fruit bats and freshwater crocodiles. This gorge is incredible and its walls reach up to 100 metres. Their campground offers unpowered sites and caravan spots and you can also go bushwalking to explore the gorge more.

CAPE LE GRANDE NATIONAL PARK – ESPERANCE Their white sandy beaches were voted the best in Australia but their turquoise waters and walking trails and hikes with panoramic views of the park and surrounding islands aren’t anything to complain about either. Campsites are equipped with kitchens, picnic tables, gas barbecues and toilets.
